Happy New Year!!
I hope you all had a fun & safe holiday :)
Kevin and I rung in the new year at a 1920's themed NYE party thrown by my cousin and his wife! Everyone was to come dressed in traditional 20's garb & in black and white. There were feathered headbands, bow ties, and fishnet stockings at every turn!
They even had a photo-booth set up with fun props for everyone to use. This was such a good idea, and way better than taking blurry iphone pictures all night!
Everything about the party was true to theme, and it almost felt like we were ringing in 1923 rather than 2013.
Now that the holidays are over it feels like real life has to start again-- & I, for one, am not a fan. We're gearing up for lots of changes over here; including Kevin going back to Mississippi and me starting school.
